18th July 2009:
Temptation comes to all of us, wether we invite it or not; it succumbs. Depends on our ability to recognise its disguise. Sometimes it arrives in the form of an old flame flickering back to life, or a friend who could end up being so much more, Or a young child who awakens feelings we didn't know we had; And so we give in to temptation all the while knowing comes morning we'll have to suffer the consequences.
Some might thought life began the moment you were brought to Earth. The day commonly known as your "Birth+Day=Birthday". Scientifically, I believed my life began when my heart started beating but the truth behind my typical scientific thought was, my real life began when I was 15 and a half.
MRSM Taiping!!!!! Waaahhhh..wat da heck? Well...my dream came true. Right after my PMR I dreamt of entering that school. Surprisingly, we (Me, Rhoe & Zharif) managed to fit in. First day; terrified. 2nd day; mortified and the upcoming days; mesmorised. Living life the way it is, I began to let go of things, things that seemed so dark to me; things that could shatter a sense of pride and dignity. I felt as if I was in film set; shooting another adventurous journey of my life. I felt like an actor; memorising the vices and virtues of life written on a script while trying to fulfil the desired action by the director. Flashes of lights directed to my imperfect complexion making me feel like a one a million star whose beauty would once fade and whose presence would once invisible. Surprisingly, I didn't bumped into Angelina Jolie, Raven Symone, Brad Pitt, Teri Hatcher, Nicholette Sheridan, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria or Felicity Huffman. I met more than just friends of actors an actresses on the set perhaps best friends as they brighthen up the spotlight on me making me look way beyond perfect on the film set. Now let's meet 'em:
1) Malinot; My Kak Melur@Kiambang@Kemboja@Dahlia
First impression: she seemed b*t*hy. The second impression: she seemed nice. All in all the third impression was the truth above all. Third impression: Lovely. Yes, she really is. A girl who taught me the value of appreciating others whatever they did to you. She was one of the most strongest girl I've ever met for those two years in Taiping eventhough she shed million tones of tears, every single drop of it embeded pure love, loyalty and dignity in her. Another ONE OF A KIND human being that I have encountered in the journey of my life.
2) Gene+Knee+Ally=Aliya Dalila (deep in meaning to SOMEONE)
Well...a sudden thought that hit me the first time I met her was "the BREE VAN DE KAMP". A perfect way of portraying herself in public, good natured, polite and humble. There was one
thing about her which I couldn't forget; she always want things to be in her own way (Even
Rhoe~another perfectionist freak lost to her once in a indirect life battle)
3) Faidhi Ghandi Fahmi (Our Dewa of Colours)
A colourful person. Speaks a lot, sings a lot more than he speaks and gossips most of the time. He reminded me of the excitement and enthusiasm when dealing with things you like the most in your life. Trust me, he worked damn hard in everything that he did in his life but at some point of his hardwork I began to realise the existence of some cruel, heartless and selfish human beings who made a fortune out of him. That is the moment when I actually put a deep thought into believing the malay sayings "Lembu punya susu, sapi dapat nama".
At that juncture, it hit me....no matter how hard you work in your life, the journey to get what you want is full with obstacles; some obstacles might be in the form of a pretentious yet heartless friend deviously setting trap to make full use of you; some might be in the form of lovers tricking you into sleeping with one as to fulfil their mystifying lust or might be yourself creating stumbling blocks of your own by trying to tie an end in the journey of your life.
